Lazada
Connect Lazada to manage products, stock and prices, handle orders, shipping and returns, check payouts, run promotions, and answer reviews and chats.
You register on the Lazada Open Platform, Lazada reviews the account, and you create a Seller In-house APP. You enter its App Key and App Secret in PopMCP, then sign in on Lazada's page.
Developer account approval before this connector works
Lazada reviews your developer account, then your request for a Seller In-house APP, before you can connect. In Singapore, a local seller must also be a LazMall seller or have a dedicated Lazada key account manager.
- Typical wait
- Lazada says it reviews the account within 3 business days and usually approves the app request the same day, or the next business day after a holiday.
- Cost
- Lazada's setup guides mention no fee for a developer account or a Seller In-house APP.
- Blocked until approved
- Creating the app, and so every call to your store.
- Works meanwhile
- Get your business registration document ready, plus a logo of exactly 200 by 200 pixels for the developer role and one of exactly 120 by 120 pixels for the app.
Where to apply: Sign up at open.lazada.com, submit your details at isvconsole.lazada.com, register the Software Developer role, then choose App Management, Create App and apply for a Seller In-house App.
- Choose the partner type Enterprise/Personal Self-Developed. Enterprises Commercial is for software sold to other sellers, and its apps end up needing a Service Market listing.
- The registration email cannot be changed without a support ticket.
- Testing allows about 10,000 calls a day and gives shorter sign-ins. Apply Online removes that, and Lazada says it cannot be undone.
- Leave IP Whitelist empty, or Lazada blocks calls from PopMCP.
- A Seller In-house APP reaches at most 60 stores, and each must be on its Authorized Seller Whitelist.
- Setup time
- 15 min, plus Lazada's review
- Auth
- OAuth authorization
- API base URL
- https://api.lazada.sg/rest
- Rate limits
- Lazada counts calls per app over 24 hours: typically 10,000 in Testing and 10,000,000 once Online. It publishes no limit per API.
Before you begin
- A Lazada seller store in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines or Indonesia, and its Seller Center login. A local seller in Singapore must also be a LazMall seller or have a dedicated Lazada key account manager.
- Your business registration document, which Lazada asks you to upload.
- A logo of exactly 200 by 200 pixels for the developer role and one of exactly 120 by 120 pixels for the app.
- PopMCP's callback URL from the connect form: https://app.popmcp.com/api/providers/lazada/callback
Get your credentials
Sign up and submit your details
Go to the registration page, enter your email, full name and password, and type the code Lazada emails you. The full name cannot contain "lazada". Then open Basic Information and pick your Country. For Partner type choose Enterprise/Personal Self-Developed: Enterprises Commercial is for software sold to other sellers. Fill in your business details, upload your registration document, verify your mobile number and email, and select Completed. Lazada says it reviews this within 3 business days.
Basic Information
Your registration email is also your login, and changing it takes a support ticket.
Register the Software Developer role
When the account is approved, register the Software Developer role. It is the role for calling Lazada's API to read or change your own store. Fill in the page field by field, add a logo of exactly 200 by 200 pixels and select Completed. You do not need the Service Provider role, which is for selling software to others and cannot be undone.
Register Roles
Apply for a Seller In-house APP and create it
Open App Management and select Create App. Find Seller In-house App, select Apply and give a reason. Lazada says it usually approves this the same day. When the category shows Active, select it, then Create App. Add a logo of exactly 120 by 120 pixels, and set the Callback URL to https://app.popmcp.com/api/providers/lazada/callback. It must match exactly. Select Confirm.

Add your store to the whitelist and copy the keys
In App Management, select Manage on your app. At the very bottom of the page, find Authorized Seller Whitelist and select Add. Enter the Seller ID, which is the short code at the top left of Settings in Seller Center, plus the store's Seller Email & Password and its Country. You type these on Lazada's site, and PopMCP never sees them. For a cross-border store, select China or add all six sites. An app can hold at most 60 stores. Leave IP Whitelist empty, or Lazada blocks calls from PopMCP. Then copy the App Key and App Secret from the top of the page. Your app starts in Testing, with about 10,000 calls a day and shorter sign-ins. Apply Online removes that once you are happy with it, and Lazada says it cannot be undone.

Enter both in PopMCP and sign in
In PopMCP, open Lazada in the marketplace, enter the App Key and App Secret and select Sign in with Lazada. On Lazada's page, pick your store's Site and select Use Seller Login, then log in to Seller Center. QR code login does not work here. Check that the email under My Account is the store you mean, and select Authorize. Back in PopMCP, pick the store to connect. A cross-border seller who chose Crossborder sees one store for each site.
Authorize
Connect in PopMCP
Open your workspace, choose Lazada in the marketplace, and fill in the connect dialog:
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| App Keytext | From your app's page in the Lazada App Console (App Management, Manage). Create a Seller In-house APP if you do not have one, and set the callback URL shown here on it. |
| App Secretsecret | On the same page as the App Key. Stored encrypted and used only on our server to sign requests.Encrypted with AES-256-GCM on save and never shown again. |
https://app.popmcp.com/api/providers/lazada/callbackOn your app at isvconsole.lazada.com, set this as the Callback URL. It must match exactly, or Lazada refuses the sign-in.
PopMCP verifies the credential against Lazada immediately. On success the connection flips to Verified and its MCP tools are provisioned.
Verify it worked
PopMCP shows Lazada as Connected under your store's name and country, such as Toko Satu (Singapore), and lazada_seller_overview answers with the store's details and metrics.
Troubleshooting
"Redirect uri does not match the callback URL of the app"
Why: The Callback URL on your app differs from PopMCP's, or the App Key is from another app.
Fix: Set the **Callback URL** on your app to `https://app.popmcp.com/api/providers/lazada/callback` exactly, check the **App Key** and try again.
Lazada refuses the sign-in for your store
Why: The store is not on the app's Authorized Seller Whitelist, or you logged in to a different store.
Fix: Add the store under **Authorized Seller Whitelist**, check the email under **My Account**, and start over. If the wrong store is logged in, select **Switch** or use a private window.
"Lazada did not accept the app's App Key and App Secret"
Why: One was mistyped, or they are from different apps.
Fix: Copy both again from your app's page and connect again.
"Lazada signed in but refused to show the store"
Why: The app's API Permission Group lacks GetSeller, IP Whitelist is set, or a Singapore store is not cleared for API access.
Fix: Empty **IP Whitelist** and check **API Permission Group**. In Singapore, ask Lazada's Partner Support Center about API access.
"Lazada says this store has not finished opening"
Why: Seller Center still needs the store's details.
Fix: Finish the store information in Seller Center, then connect again.
Buyer names and addresses come back masked
Why: Lazada hides them unless the app has passed its security review.
Fix: Orders and shipping still work. To see them, request **Sensitive Data Privilege** for the app.
