You paste two values into PopMCP from one page in Stamped: your Store Hash and an API key. The API Public Key on the same page is optional. Stamped says API access needs a Professional or Enterprise plan.

Paid plan required before this connector works

No one reviews you, but Stamped says its API requires a Professional or Enterprise plan.

Typical wait
None once the account is on a plan with the API: a key is made in about a minute
Cost
Stamped's own help centre names the plans but not the prices. Its pricing page shows what your store would pay.
Blocked until approved
Everything, if Stamped refuses API access on your plan: PopMCP will say it did not accept the Store Hash and key.
Works meanwhile
You can read Stamped's API docs at developers.stamped.io, and find your Store Hash on the API Keys page.

Where to apply: No form. Move the account to a plan with API access, then open Settings, Reviews Integrations, API Keys in Stamped and click + Add API Key.

  • Only the store owner can make or remove keys.
  • Customer, product, order and Loyalty 2.0 tools need Stamped's V3 API, which only stores on the Loyalty 2.0 dashboard have.
  • Plan names on Stamped's pricing page may have changed since its help article was written. If the page shows no API Keys option, ask Stamped support which plan includes it.

Make an API key

Click + Add API Key and copy the new key. Click Edit beside it if you want to name it PopMCP. Treat it like a password. Paste it into API key in PopMCP. If your page already lists an older private key that starts with key-, that one works here too.

Copy the API Public Key (optional)

At the top of the page, copy API Public Key, which starts with pubkey-, and paste it into the optional field in PopMCP. It turns on the tools for what shoppers see on your store and for submitting reviews. It also helps if your store still uses older keys. You can skip it and add it later by connecting again.

Connect in PopMCP

Click connect. PopMCP tries your Store Hash and key straight away against Stamped's reviews API and its newer customer API, and tells you if your store only has one of them or if something is missing.

Connect in PopMCP

Open your workspace, choose Stamped in the marketplace, and fill in the connect dialog:

FieldWhat to enter
Store HashtextOn the API Keys page, under Store Hash, click Show. Stamped also calls this the Shop ID.
API keysecretOn the same page, click + Add API Key and copy the new key. Treat it like a password. Stored encrypted.Encrypted with AES-256-GCM on save and never shown again.
API Public Key (optional)textAt the top of the same page. It lets the AI read what shoppers see on your store and submit reviews, and helps if your store still uses older keys.

PopMCP verifies the credential against Stamped immediately. On success the connection flips to Verified and its MCP tools are provisioned.

Verify it worked

PopMCP marks the Stamped connection Verified and lists anything your store does not have. Ask the AI to summarize last month's reviews or look up a customer's points, and it answers from your store.

Troubleshooting

"Stamped did not accept this Store Hash and key."

Why: The hash or key was copied in part, the key was removed, or the account's plan has no API access.

Fix: Copy both again from **Settings**, **Reviews Integrations**, **API Keys**. Stamped says the API needs a Professional or Enterprise plan, and only the store owner can make keys.

"That is your API Public Key"

Why: The `pubkey-` value went into the API key field.

Fix: Click **+ Add API Key**, and paste that key into **API key**. The public key has its own optional field.

PopMCP says this store does not have Stamped's V3 API

Why: Stamped only offers V3 to stores on the Loyalty 2.0 dashboard.

Fix: Reviews, questions and NPS still work, and the tools named legacy cover customers and points on the older program.

PopMCP says Stamped refused the key on reviews, questions and NPS

Why: Your store's reviews API still expects the older key pair.

Fix: Connect again with your API Public Key in the optional field. If that does not help, use the older private key that starts with `key-` from the same page.

A tool says it needs your API Public Key

Why: Routes that show what shoppers see need the public key, and this connection does not have one.

Fix: Copy **API Public Key** from the API Keys page and connect again with it filled in.

A tool says Stamped's public reference does not cover this route

Why: A few actions, such as replying to a review, use a route from Stamped's own dashboard. Stamped does not promise that API keys work on it.

Fix: Do that action in the Stamped dashboard. The other tools are not affected.

Creating or updating a customer, product or order fails

Why: On Shopify and BigCommerce, your store owns those records and Stamped keeps them in sync.

Fix: Change the record in your store instead. These tools are meant for headless and custom stores.
