ZCode
Add PopMCP as an MCP server in Z.ai's ZCode desktop app.
Open the MCP settings
In ZCode, go to Settings → MCP Servers and click New MCP Server in the upper right.
Fill in the server
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Scope | User for every workspace, or Workspace for this project only |
| Name | PopMCP |
| Type | HTTP |
| Service URL | https://app.popmcp.com/mcp |
Leave Headers and Environment variables empty. PopMCP authenticates with OAuth, not a static key.
If you prefer JSON, switch to Full configuration and paste the server block directly.
Enable it
Click Add, then confirm the server shows as enabled in the MCP server list.
Approve the connectors
ZCode opens PopMCP's consent screen. Tick the connectors this client should reach and
approve, then ask it to list_connections to confirm what it was granted.
Your manually added servers appear under Configured MCP servers, separate from the built-in plugin servers, so PopMCP sits alongside ZCode's own tools rather than replacing them.
