Claude Desktop
Add PopMCP to Claude Desktop as a custom connector.
Open connector settings
In Claude Desktop, go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
Add the gateway URL

There is no token to paste. Claude registers itself with PopMCP automatically.
Approve the connectors
Claude opens a browser window with PopMCP's consent screen, a tree of team, workspace and connector. Tick the connectors this client should reach and approve.
Confirm the tools loaded
Open a new chat and check the connector shows as connected. Ask Claude to
list_connections to see exactly what it was granted.
Granting a connector here grants it to Claude Desktop specifically. Other clients run their own flow and get their own grants, so you can give Claude full access and another tool read-only.
