# Judge.me setup for PopMCP

Your Judge.me shop domain in myshopify.com form plus the Private API token, both read off the View API tokens panel in Settings, Integrations.

- Auth: API credentials
- Setup time: 3 min
- API base URL: https://judge.me/api/v1
- Credentials screen: https://app.judge.me/settings/integrations
- Provider docs: https://judge.me/help/en/articles/8409180-using-judge-me-api

## Before you begin

- A Judge.me account installed on a Shopify store. Judge.me is sunsetting WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Squarespace, Square, Duda and PrestaShop
- Access to the Judge.me admin's Settings area, as store owner or a user granted admin permissions
- Use the PRIVATE token. The public token is read only and works for widget GET calls

## Get your credentials

### 1. Open Settings, then Integrations

From the Judge.me admin, open Settings and then Integrations. Click View API tokens in the top right corner.

Screen: https://app.judge.me/settings/integrations

### 2. Copy the Private API token

Copy the value labelled Your Private API Token. Do not copy Your Public API Token.

Screen: https://app.judge.me/settings/integrations

### 3. Copy the shop domain from the same panel

Copy Your Shop domain, shown in `something.myshopify.com` form.

Screen: https://app.judge.me/settings/integrations

### 4. Paste both values into PopMCP

In PopMCP, open the Judge.me connector, put the domain in Shop domain and the private token in Private API token. Click Connect.

## Fields PopMCP asks for

- Shop domain (shopDomain) [required]: The Shop domain shown on the same View API tokens screen, usually in myshopify.com form. Pasting the full URL is fine; it is trimmed to the bare domain.
- Private API token (apiToken) [required]: Judge.me admin → Settings → Integrations → View API tokens → copy the PRIVATE token (not the public one, which is read-only for widgets). Stored encrypted and used server-side only.

## Verify

PopMCP marks the Judge.me connector Connected and a test review listing returns your store's recent reviews with the right product names.

## Troubleshooting

### 401 or an empty review list

Cause: You pasted the public token instead of the private one.

Fix: Reopen Settings, Integrations, View API tokens and copy the value labelled Your Private API Token.

### Requests return reviews for the wrong store, or none at all

Cause: The shop domain is your custom storefront domain rather than the myshopify.com one Judge.me keys on.

Fix: Use the exact Shop domain string shown on the API tokens panel, for example northwind-supply.myshopify.com. Pasting the full URL is fine, PopMCP trims it to the bare host.

### Duplicate reviews appear after one create call

Cause: A known Judge.me issue when the cf_answers array is sent with non-empty values.

Fix: Omit custom form answers when creating reviews through the API, or leave the array empty.

### Cannot find Settings, Integrations

Cause: The store is on a platform Judge.me is sunsetting, or your user has no admin permission.

Fix: Ask the store owner to open the page and share the private token, or check Judge.me access and user permissions.
